Identity is a key aspect to look at when examining immigration. This week we’ll be looking at how race as a major identity plays a role in the treatment and daily life of immigrants in the United States.
We will also look at how immigrants are considered to have a distinguished race because of their recent immigration to the United States, and how the United States government profiles specific groups of immigrants as more or less desireable to become legalized United States citizens.
